Twelfth Night Ball March 2019 (18)
On March 9, 2019 JASNA-Dayton hosted their 4th annual Twelfth Night Ball, this time with a masquerade twist to it. -
JASNA-Dayton Bake-Off (19)
On March 16, 2018, JASNA-Dayton was treated to a fun, hands-on demonstration from Central Perc's baker/part owner, Rosie. She showed everyone how to make English Scones, helped make every batch come out well, and everyone had a chance to try their creations with an informal tea to end the evening. -

On January 6, 2018, JASNA-Dayton hosted their third annual Twelfth Night Ball at the Patterson Homestead. There was feasting, card-playing, and plenty of dancing! -
Carrie Bebris' Talk at Dayton Metro Library (11)
In September, Carrie Bebris gave a talk at the Dayton Metro Library about "Celebrating Jane Austen." Members and new-comers all learned a little more about the life of this most celebrated (for us anyway!) author. -

Claire Bellanti, JASNA national president, presented her talk about circulating libraries called, "You can get a parasol at Whitby's" at the lovely Patterson Homestead. Our members enjoyed her wonderful talk, along with a delicious tea and shopping with Jane Austen Books. -
Twelfth Night Ball 2017 (38)
In January 2017 JASNA-Dayton hosted their second annual Twelfth Night Ball at the Patterson Homestead. There was great food, dancing and cards, and great company. -
Dressing Downton August 2016 (17)
In August 2016 JASNA Dayton members went to the Taft Museum in Cincinnati to see the Dressing Downton costume exhibit and enjoy a Jane Austen themed tour from Barbara Wenner. -

On March 12, 2016, Amy Patterson of Jane Austen Books gave a talk about Mr. Darcy in Film at the Patterson (no relation) Homestead. A lovely tea was provided and an emporium with Jane Austen Books was also. -

Tea at Basically British, September 12, 2010 (17)
Janeites made their first official visit to Dayton's newest tea establishment. Kristopher Shultz of the George Rogers Clark Heritage Association gave an informative talk on historical reenactments and living history, and how they deepen one's understanding of a historical period in a unique way. -
